By using this website or purchasing from us you confirm that:

• The personal and payment information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
• You will not use the site for any unlawful purpose.

3. Products

All products are handcrafted in small batches in our India studio. Because each item is made by hand:

• Colour, scent, and texture may vary slightly from batch to batch. This is not a defect — it is the nature of natural materials.
• Shelf life and burn times are estimates based on average use.
• Product photographs are as accurate as possible, but actual colours may differ on your screen.

4. Pricing

• All prices are listed in INR (₹), USD ($), and EUR (€).
• Prices include GST where applicable. The exact tax is shown at checkout before you pay.
• International orders are subject to local duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer.
• We may change prices at any time, but never retroactively on a confirmed order.

5. Orders & payment

• Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we accept by sending a confirmation email.
• We may decline an order if stock is unavailable, the price was displayed in error, or the order appears fraudulent. In any case we will tell you and refund any payment within 7 days.
• Payment is processed at the time of order by our PCI-DSS partners (Razorpay for India, Stripe for international).

8. Workshops

• Workshop bookings are confirmed only on receipt of full payment.
• You may cancel up to 7 days before the workshop for a full refund.
• Within 7 days of the workshop, refunds are at our discretion.
• If we cancel a workshop, you will receive a full refund or a credit toward a future date.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, photographs, designs, formulas, and the Essence of Hope name and logo — is owned by Essence of Hope Studio LLP. You may browse and purchase from the site for personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce, or resell our content without written permission.

10. Disclaimers

• Our products are cosmetic and wellness items. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
• If you are pregnant, nursing, or have a medical condition, please consult a qualified practitioner before using essential-oil products.
• Always do a patch test before using a new topical product.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the site or our products is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

13. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Uttar Pradesh, India. We will, however, always try to resolve any issue amicably first — please write to hello@essenceofhope.in.
